This past weekend at DR7, we saw six champions crowned in Fort Pierce, Florida. One organization, Orlando Elite 7v7 won in two different age brackets – 8U and 14U. They’ll all be at The Crown in April due to earning a paid bid. However, there were other teams who put everyone on notice with their stellar play throughout the tournament. Epic Elite 15U had one of the best QB/WR duos the whole weekend – they went undefeated in pool play and was a tough out. Another team who’s om the radar is Apex Elite 14U – their defense stood out in most games and they created many turnovers. South Tampa Elite 8U remained unbeaten all the way up until the championship game so look for them to make noise in the 7v7 circuit as well. 18U was wide open prior to Treasure Coast Elite ultimately taking home the gold – but The St John’s Cobras were a headache for just about everybody. Very physical, confrontational team with a swag like they expect to win every time and that’s the type of competition we bring out at DR7.
