The Main Event Camp took place at Lakeland Christian High on Saturday with more than 100 prospects from various schools in Polk, Pasco, the Orlando area, and beyond in attendance. Participants had the chance to undergo test drills, including the 40-yard, and be coached by local position coaches before the highly anticipated 1v1 session. Drew Johnson, The Platform National Scout, identified several DOG standouts, which made for an exhilarating end period. Let’s see who made a name for themselves at this year’s Main Event Camp.
QB:
Chris Denson | QB | Class of 2025 | Plant City | @chrisdenson03
Denson took home the QB MVP after putting on a show during the 1v1 period with good timing and accuracy.
Blake Johnson | QB | Class of 2025 | Victory Christian | @blakejohnson_11 Johnson has some of the best arm strength and downfield accuracy in Polk County. Check back to this during the fall season.
Robbie Gaskin | QB | Class of 2025 | Winter Haven | @Robbie2goated Gaskin was one of my top performers today despite missing a couple during the 1v1 session. He continues to progress in each showing.
Samauri Wilson | QB | Class of 2025 | Haines City | @SamauriWilson
RB:
Quantavious Callaway | RB | Class of 2024 | Lake Region | @CoveBoiiQue
Callaway took home the RB MVP after displaying his good speed and route running during the 1v1 period. He’s an underdog in the Polk County scene that impresses me more than some of the bigger names floating around.
Uriah Maynard | RB | Class of 2025 | Lake Minneola | @UriahMaynard21
Janius Taylor | ATH | Class of 2024 | Victory Christian | @HumbledNius
Josh Bellamy | ATH | Class of 2025 | Lakeland Christian | @JoshBellamyJr1
Jaysean Pritchard | ATH | Class of 2025 | Auburndale | @D1Jaysean
5’10, 170

OL:
Brock Riley | OL | Class of 2025 | Sebring | @Brock_Riley75
6’4, 250
Riley earned the offensive lineman MVP of The Main Event Camp after shutting down a few edge rushers with good hands and footwork.
LB | DL:
Quinton Moore | LB | Class of 2024 | @QuintonMooreJr2 6’1, 215
Moore took home to linebacker MVP award after a great showing during both the testing period and the 1v1 showcase session. He’s an under-the-radar prospect that can make an impact for a lot of colleges at the next level. Should see an uptick in offers near the fall season.

Elijah Dias | LB | Class of 2026 | Auburndale | @twin_frmpolk 5’11, 186

TJ Lane | DT/OL | Class of 2024 | Lake Gibson | @Tj73_ 5’10, 275
Franke Lastinger | OL / DL | Class of 2027 | Fort Meade Middle | @frankiethegoat2
Jordan Jenkins | DL | Class of 2026 | Victory Christian | @Jordann3jenkins
Ziggy Riley | ATH | Class of 2026 | Lakeland | @riley1_ziggy
DB:
LaRenz Walker | DB | Class of 2026 | Osceola (Kissimmee) | @larenz_walker
Walker is one of the top DOGS of the day that was ready for the 1v1 period where he backed up his confident talk with good coverage causing pass deflections and trouble for a few receivers. What earned him MVP for me was his effort and wasn’t afraid to rack up meaningful reps.
Cason Dash | DB | Class of 2026 | Lake Gibson | @CasonDash3 6’1, 175
