    Written By: Drew Johnson (RealNews102)

The Feltrim Sports Complex in Haines City was buzzing with energy over the weekend as the 7v7 Elite tournament had some talented prospects compete against each other in a thrilling display of skill and competition. National Scout Drew Johnson was in attendance to take stock of the standout performers from the weekend. With so much talent on display, there were plenty of notable faces to keep an eye on. From impressive touchdowns to game-winning interceptions, the players did not disappoint. Let’s take a closer look at some of the standout performers from the weekend.

    WRs:

    Jaysean Prichard | ATH | 2025| Buchholz | @D1Jayseasn

College coaches looking for a kid that can dominate on both sides of the ball, tap in with Prichard Now. He was one of the top standouts regardless of position this weekend as he caught multiple deep ball bombs and showed off his ability to play the defensive back position.

    Mannie Mckinney | WR | 2027 | CAI | @manniemck_

Eletric. Speed. Strong hands. These are some traits McKinney has shown off since the regular season. He has to be one of the top 2027 prospects in the state and also can play both sides of the ball. He made a huge impact for Team Elite who took home the 15U championship this weekend. Look out for him to continue impressing during the offseason.

    Josh Robinson | ATH | 2025 | Carrollwood Day | @Rob03Black

“Track Hawk Josh”! With a nickname like that, you have to be a speed demon. This kid was explosive all weekend for his squad while sliming out a few DBs to finish as a top standout. Robinson can be utilized in various ways in an offensive scheme because of his overall swiftness that’s difficult to stop. Big-time offseason for Robinson who can lock in some legitimate college interest.

    Chance Robertson | WR | 2027 | @Chancer2208

Robertson had a significant impact in the 15U championship game where he scored multiple TDs to help his team take home the championship belt. He’s a young prospect with plenty of upside and versatility where he’ll likely be used at various spots next fall season. Got my eyes on this kid to track his overall development.

    Makih Johnson | WR | 2025 | CAI | @Makihjohnson2

One of the premier WR prospects at the tournament showed off his college-ready frame, reliable hands, and solid route-running skills this weekend. Continue to be impressed with his progression at the position and expect him to make some noise this offseason. He’s a solid 6-2, 185-pound kid with plenty of time to work on his bag of skills for college coaches to evaluate.

    Best of the Rest: Ballers

    DBs:

    Omari Russel | DB | 2026 | Fort Meade | @omari_russel

My top DB standout of this weekend hands down. This kid had more interceptions than some receivers had catches. Talk about reading plays before they happen, showing off his High IQ, and good hands to seal the money takeaways, you have a good upside prospect. Combine that with his developing frame at 6-1, 170 pounds, and you have a solid young prospect that you need to lock in with. Russell is one of the premier under-the-radar DBs in the state.

    Joshod Hampton |DB | 2025 | Bartow | @Joshod3

Don’t sleep on this young man who continues to impress with his combined coverage and ball skills. Hampton has a good football IQ for the defensive back position where he can make plays on the ball or use his presence to deter throws. Solid weekend for the 2025 DB who can make some noise this offseason.
