QB House Midwest Retreat — Notable QBs To Watch

College Camp Season is back and QB House Trainer BJ Hall will hit the road once again for his annual Bus Tour featuring various colleges.

This time period has become essential for athletes to be critiqued by experienced coaches and to push themselves around their competition. Prep Redzone Scout Drew Johnson will be attending the tour to provide daily coverage on notable standouts and important takeaways (offers, etc.). Let’s get into Part I of some of the interesting prospects that will be attending the tour.

    Joel Morris | QB | 2026 | Summer High | @Joel1morris

Morris has taken the recruiting scene by storm beginning at the start of last summer when he dominated at various Power Five camps. Morris will be the starting quarterback for Summer this season and will have a lot of eyes studying his performances. He has advanced quarterback mechanics with really good arm strength. His frame at 6’2, 180 pounds is also intriguing because he has three more years of development left. All college coaches in Florida should start paying attention and get familiar with Joel Morris.

    Jaylen White | ATH | 2026 | Clearwater | @Jaylen_white1

White is listed as a QB prospect but played the WR and DB positions during the offseason 7v7 period. He may have a future at either because of his sheer athletic ability. He’ll have a chance to show off his arm at the QB Midwest Retreat. He accumulated nearly 2,000 passing yards and 500 rushing yards during the season.

    Dylan Nahra | QB | 2025 | Boca Ciega | @DylanNahra

One of the better QB prospects I have eyes on this spring will join the Midwest Retreat where he’ll look to show off his arm and potential to college coaches. Solid offseason that he can look to build on throughout the tour.

    Myles McDonald | QB | 2027 | Zephyrhills Christian | @813_mcdonald

The Southpaw lefty made his way from the Sunshine State to compete with some of the best in the country this weekend on the DR7 circuit. I’ve had the chance to watch this kid develop over the last couple of years. McDonald has all the tools to make a case for one of the top QBs in the Class of 2027. The natural lefty zips the ball around with a strong lower base and good footwork mechanics. He has plenty of time to grow and master the position. McDonald has had an impressive off-season and will look to take that momentum into the spring camp season.

    Ayden Wallace | QB | Class of 2026 | Lakewood | @aydendwall16

This kid has truly developed his game and the confidence is starting to show and will have a chance to generate some college interest on the bus tour. Wallace has found a new home at Lakewood HS where he is growing into a leader for this talented offense. Wallace looked good in a blowout spring game win where he threw for 270 yards with 4 first-half touchdowns.

    Braylon cave | QB | 2029 | @Bmax_thedux

This kid can be the next Real Deal QB prospect from the state of Florida. Has everything you want in a young QB: coachable, confident, mobile footwork, strong arm, and hard worker. Cave continues to put in the hard work which is paying off in his release and overall throwing ability. Was instantly impressed when watching him roll out of the pocket and continue to stay accurate. Watch out for Braylon Cave folks.

    Brayden Himelright | QB | 2027 | Calvary Christian | @BraydenHim8

Himelright has taken advantage of the off-season 7v7 period competing with the rising Trinity Elite program and will look to take that momentum on the bus tour. He’s a rising 2027 prospect who will get some good work at these college camps.

    RISERS TO WATCH:

    Jadon Olafsson | QB | 2025 | Milford Academy | @OlafssonJadon

*Picked up a recent offer from Bethune Cookman University. Interested to watch this kid perform on the tour.

    Chase Forte | QB | 2025 | @ChaseForte1

    Gavin Galish | QB | 2026 | Osceola | @Gavin_Galish

    John Angelo | QB | 2025 | Tarpon Springs | @John_Angelo_1

    Ty Norton | QB | 2026 | Zephyrhills | @TysenN2026
