    Kentucky Camp: Notable Standouts

    Written by: Drew Johnson (@RealNews102)

The QB House Midwest Retreat continued with a Day 3 stop at the University of Kentucky. SEC facilities have been amazing and the hospitality has matched the good energy the hosting staff have shown. Let’s get into some notable standouts and camp Dogs.

    Dillon Bryant | DE | 2025 | Venice | @bryant_941

Bryant has dominated 1v1 sessions throughout the tour, earning a reputation as one of the more relentless and fearless players on the bus. His training with Trench Academy is shown when watching his hand work and technique to get around offensive lineman. Bryant’s ability to bend around the edge and maintain balance has been impressive. Overall, Bryant’s combination of power, technique, and football IQ sets him apart as a top-tier stand out on the Midwest Retreat.

    Nick Jeffords | WR | 2025 | Countryside | @nickjeffords4

Jeffords has given Wes Welker vibes as he’s displayed exceptional route-running, quickness, and solid hands. This kid can be dynamic in the slot by using his agility and speed to find open spaces and create separation. Jeffords has a good frame and shown he can produce at the prep level as he was an All-County WR last season.

    Brayden Himelright | QB | 2027 | Calvary Christian | @BraydenHim8

Himelright has taken advantage of the off-season period and has been one of the better rising pups on the tour. He has the frame and advanced mechanics for his age with plenty of time for overall growth as a freshman. Back-to-back solid days for this kid is who has a bright future.

    Chase Forte | QB | 2025 | @ChaseForte1

One of the seniors on the bus has had a couple solid days throwing on the Midwest Retreat where he seems to be finding his stride and building confidence. I came away impressed with his overall performance today at Kentucky and expect him to turn it up as the days go on. The upcoming mega camp will be huge for Forte to lock in and generate some college/interest offers to play at the next level.

    Jaylen White | QB | 2026 | Clearwater | @jaylen_white12

White has been a top standout the past three camps and had Kentucky coaches interested in his play today as he looked well going through his routine which led to a nice 1v1 session where he got pulled over to compete in front of personnel. This kid has to pull in an offer from some of these coaches as we still have a few camps to go.

    Kendall Johnson | WR | 2025 | ZCA | @KxndallJxhnson

Nobody has dominated the bus tour like Kendall Johnson who has pulled in a couple offers and impressed coaches at each camp we’ve attended. He’s a baller that can play both sides of the ball but has proven he can be a problem and have a chance at the top level at wide receiver. He came up with crazy one handed and deep ball catches in the endzone to wow onlookers. Look out for this kid to pile up more offers.

    Evan Hampton | RB | 2026 | Owensboro | @Evanhampton34

This kid is a UK baseball commit but may have a future on the gridiron as he ran 4.4 times twice for the coaches to make sure it was locked in. He’s a running back prospect who had over 1500+ rushing yards and 25 touchdowns for Owensboro. Look out for the kid to be a problem in Kentucky as a football recruit.

    Best of the Rest:

    Dylan Nahra | QB | 2025 | @DylanNahra

    Myles McDonald | QB | 2027 | Carrollwood Day | @813_mcdonald

    Mekell King | ATH | 2026 | Sunlake | @KingMekell

    Ayden Wallace | QB | 2026 | Lakewood | @aydendwall16

    Brayden Foos | QB | 2027 | @braydenfoos09

    Christian Birner | LB | 2026 | Steinbrenner | @Christian_B12
