Names To Know: DR7 – Orlando, FL

By: Nick Gradney (National Scout) @StatZ_G

28′ WR Chayse Brown (@br1wnn) is a big time young playmaker with a high ceiling. Brown has great speed and can make contested catches in traffic. His hand-eye coordination is next level. This kid has a long, athletic frame and will only grow more. Be on the lookout for Chayse Brown.

27′ DB Zaiden Blanch (@BlanchZaiden) was a pleasant surprise to watch at DR7 – Orlando, FL. Blanch is very charismatic, he talks a big game but most importantly, he backs it up. He was all over the field making plays. His ability to cover ground quickly is outstanding. Blanch is sound in his technique and has really good footwork. I’m looking forward to seeing this young star in the making name pop up everywhere soon.

25′ ATH Cailon Kaigler (@3SportAthlete21) was one of the better, polished players I had the privilege of watching last weekend. Kaigler is a bulky athlete with great athleticism and has smooth route running ability. He’s a senior, looking to get signed. It’s not too late for someone to take a chance on a talented kid, who can undoubtedly be an asset to a college program. He’s versatile and can play multiple positions. Recruiters, do not sleep on him, get eyes on him asap.

26′ DB Darrin Townsend (@DarinT727) has the tools to be a Division 1 athlete. His size alone makes him an asset on the field, but his talent makes him a true threat. Townsend has active hands and plays through the ball, which coaches love. He has a high motor and a knack for being around the ball at the right time. On film he shows that he is a sure tackler. Townsend had 56 tackles during his junior season, which is outstanding for a defensive back. His name will continue to buzz on the 7v7 circuit and recruiters will be knocking his door down to get him on campus.

27′ CB Desmond Lee Jr (@Desmondleejr) is a tall, rangy corner that can cover any part of the gridiron. You can put him outside, in the slot or have him guard deep center field from the safety position. Lee played an important role in his teams success last weekend and was counted on to do a lot. His length threw off offensive attacks because you have to account for him being disruptive. I’m eager to see his growth because I believe he has what it takes to go far.

26′ WR Brian Williams (@WilliamsBrianjr) blew up this past season. Playing alongside Notre Dame QB commit, Noah Grubbs in both high school and 7v7, Williams is really making a name for himself. He is developing into one of the most impressive wide receiver prospects in the 2026 class in the state of Florida, standing at 6-foot-4 and nearly 200 pounds, he has the frame to go along with his dynamic skill set. Brian is a deep threat with his long stride and he has the speed to match. He made several “must have” catches throughout the tournament. This kid is a matchup nightmare and will be for opposing defenses for years to come. Williams has at least a dozen offers, that include Syracuse, Vanderbilt, Liberty, and the University of Connecticut.

28′ WR Jackson Conte (@contewr1) was a standout at the DR7 – Orlando, FL tournament last weekend. Conte was really good in space with the ball in his hands. His number was called upon plenty times and he never failed to take advantage. He won on almost every route I saw. He’s a young baller, with strong hands, who can make tough catches. His team, the 813 Hawks, won the 14U championship and he was a big reason for that.

28′ WR Andre Moss (@_amoss5) caught my attention with his incredible performance last weekend at the DR7 – Orlando, FL tournament. Moss was terrific throughout the day on Sunday, displaying diversity in his routes, quickness and just the will to get open before the four second count. Moss is an under the radar athlete with great upside. He just needs the right eyes on him and more opportunities, which he will likely earn the more he plays. This kid is well put together in stature and will be a force for years to come.
