28′ ATH Reggie Butler (@Reggie5199) is a speedy athlete who can play both sides of the field. However, it was his play making ability at wide receiver that stood out the most. This kid is lightning in a bottle. He ran by defenders all weekend. Butler excelled at high pointing the ball and creating space with his pure speed. This is a player that would test well in any camp. Expect great things for Reggie Butler in the near future.
26′ WR Jaden Johnson (@JadenJohnson_03) is a three sport athlete, so you know he has a high motor. He’s a big body receiver with plenty of burst and twitch. Johnsons’ footwork is how he constantly creates separation. This kid found himself open a lot, and there was very little that defenses could do to stop him. He’s a beast on the open field with good acceleration once the ball is in his hands.
26′ WR Griffin Baker (@GriffinBaker26) stuck out like a sore thumb! This kid is a specimen. He’s 6-foot-3 with a slender but athletic build. He made several plays across the middle of the field. He’s one of those kinds of players who’s deceptively fast. It may not look like it, but he’ll leave you in the dust. He’s a great route runner with no limitations in his ability. His wide catch radius allows him to haul in receptions that are seemingly off the mark. Baker has D1 prospect written all over him. Recruiters, get him in front of you now!
27′ CB Dustin Anderson (@DustinAnderson_) played really well in DR7 – OKC this weekend. This is a young man with a bright future at the cornerback spot, which may be the hardest position to play in football. He was near the ball almost every time it went his way. Anderson possesses the ability to break on with the ball with his closing speed and stick to receivers like glue with his sound technique. He’s aggressive at the point of attack, never gets caught up looking in the backfield, and his hands are active. Even at times when the receiver caught it, he was still there. As a defensive back, you know you’ll get beat at times, but as long as you can fight through it, you’ll be fine, and that’s exactly the energy Dustin brought.
26′ RB Tay Parry (@TayParry24) was perhaps the fastest player on the field this weekend at DR7 – OKC. He’s an explosive running back who can make catches out of the backfield. Defenses just can’t keep up with this kid. He’s extremely quick off the line of scrimmage, has great vision, and his hands make him a dual threat athlete. Parry was the x-factor for his team. He can take it the distance any moment, and if I was a recruiter, this is a player I’d take a look at for my program.
28′ WR Dominic Berry (@Khylor21) is a young receiver that stands out firstly due to his length. He’s 6-foot-1 and uses his size to his advantage. Berry has the ability to win in one on one situations, particularly in press coverage by using his violent hands to get past defenders. He has a plethora of moves that creates separation, which is huge for an athlete who doesn’t rely solely on speed. This kid was a mismatch nightmare in the intermediate game and the redzone. He has soft hands that can bring in receptions on a consistent basis. Put him on your radar now!
28′ ATH Tommalik Benson (@Tommalik__) may have been the best player I’ve seen in DR7 – OKC, regardless of position or age group. His performance was absolutely pure dominance! I believe he projects best at wide receiver, but he’s a natural, so you can just put him on the field on both sides of the ball and watch him make plays. Benson has great speed, hands, and crisp route running. The way he gets out of his breaks is top-notch. There were many times where he just made defensive backs look like they didn’t even belong on the same field with him. His whole aura screams D1/P4 athlete in the near future. I’m looking forward to following this kid and seeing how far he goes.
29′ ATH James Jones (@5starzjayyy) played like a man amongst boys out at DR7 – OKC. I watched him play three different positions on three different drives – that includes quarterback, wide receiver, and safety. Any time the ball was thrown in his vicinity, he came down with it. He’s a gifted young player who physically opposed his will against smaller defenders. His ability to locate the ball was something to behold. Jones is currently in the 8th grade, so he hasn’t even started wreaking havoc on the high school level. He’ll continue to grow, and once he really hones in on his craft, he’s going to be unstoppable.
28′ DB Chris Lockett (@ChrisLockett870) walks it and talks it. This kid is very passionate about the game, and his confidence is next level. He believes he can play 18U right now. I watched him shut down an entire side of the field and can’t remember one single pass being caught on him. Bradley possesses a ton of speed and oily hips to adjust his body in the area of the action. He plays through the ball, and his sticky coverage skills were second to none. If he grows a few more inches, there will be a different conversation to be had.
28′ ATH Tony Bradley (@tonybradleyyy5) is an athlete who can play multiple positions. He excelled at receiver and cornerback. Bradley has great field awareness. This young standout has the ability to get wide open and gain yards after the catch. He plays sticky man to man defense, which will keep him on the field as a valuable piece. The kid was just a walking playmaker at DR7 – OKC. I’m interested to see what position he’ll settle in at. Whatever it is, just know that he’s naturally talented. With great coaching, the sky’s the limit.
26′ EDGE Alijah Lash (@IamAlijah_) is a three star prospect out of the lone star state. Lash is a versatile defender who can play on the edge with his hand in the dirt or rush the passer standing upright. His athleticism allows him to play linebacker in 7v7. Alijah has excellent lateral movement and he communicates well, which displays defensive leadership. He currently holds double-digit offers, including Houston, Texas Tech, UNLV, and more. He tied his school record with 6 sacks during his junior year. Expect that to be broken this upcoming fall.
27′ ATH Cayl Cox Liggins (@CoxLiggins) is a tall, rangy receiver with good jumping ability and a huge catch radius. This kid can make any catch in any area. He’s best used in the red zone where you can call a fade or throw him a drag in the back of the end zone. Liggins possesses burst off the line and doesn’t allow himself to get jammed off his routes. His ability to be strong at the point of attack enables him to get open often. The future is bright and I can’t wait to watch this young star on the rise come into his own.
27′ TE Braxton Daniel (@Braxton_Daniel) is an exceptional athlete with high level athleticism that allows him to create separation early in his routes. Daniel is a name to watch out for in the 2027 class in the state of Oklahoma. After a few camps and combines, I expect him to have stars next to his name with collegiate offers to follow. He moves fluidly and has strong hands. His understanding of how to manipulate defenses and the small nuances of the game is what will separate him from others. He’s a physical mismatch that can take over a game. Expect great things going forward.
29′ WR Jahlil Clay (@Jahlil_Clay3) was a sight to see in DR7 – OKC. It was refreshing to watch such a young talent dominate the way he did in big moments. He took accountability for making a mistake, then proceeded to go on a rampage. Clay is a fast, athletic wide receiver who is going under the radar in the state of Iowa. It’s very early, but I believe he can hold his own with just about anybody. He made several catches in a row at one point and caught a few bombs to give his team the win. This kid can run everything in the route tree. His ability to stretch the field makes him a game breaker. Defenses must know where he’s at on the field at all times or he’ll make you pay. He’s built like a future D1 player. It’s only a matter of time before he really takes off.
