29′ QB Donte Adams (@DonteAdamsJr) is a polished, up and coming quarterback with a lot of room for growth. Adams possesses certain traits that stand out when you watch him perform – such as mobility, accuracy, a good throwing platform, and he places the ball out of harm’s way for his receiver to catch. With more time and effort put into his craft, this kid will continue to make his mark on the game.
28′ WR Jaylan Doughty (@SauceWinns) is a big kid with big-time potential. He can be a deep threat, short field, or redzone problem for opposing defenses. Doughty has a long frame and can high point the football in congested situations. There’s no area of the field he can not win in. His route running was consistent and fluid for a player of his stature. Every defensive back has to account for Jaylan when he’s on the field, or he’ll make you pay. He makes everything look so easy. Recruiters, this is a kid I’d keep a close eye on!
26′ QB Brogan Benassi (@BroganBenassi) is a proven signal caller who has a tremendous upside. Benassi is athletic in the pocket at 6-foot-3 175 pounds and he has excellent field vision that enables him to scan defenses, allowing him to make the right reads frequently. Benassi has all of the tools you would want in a pocket passer – presence, poise, mechanics, a compact follow through, pinpoint accuracy, and a strong arm to push the ball down the field. The ability to process in a short manner is what he excels at, displaying a high football IQ. You add all of that up, and you get a potential collegiate quarterback.
27′ ATH Keontay Toomer (@keontaytoomer4) was exceptional in DR7 – STL. This is a well put together young man with a huge upside. His best assets to any college program would be his quick reaction when the ball is in the air, the controlled aggression he plays with, and his versatility to play multiple positions in the secondary because of his athleticism. Toomer is a basketball player as well, and we all know that can translate to the gridiron. He’s only a sophomore, so don’t be surprised if his recruitment pops off very soon.
26′ QB Dalton Oakman (@Oakman_12) made jaw-dropping throws left and right at DR7 – STL. The football just flies out of his hands. Oakman is a rare lefty with a controlled, tight spiral that doesn’t hang in the air too long. Oakman isn’t hesitant in his decision-making. If you watch him, you can see how scans the field prior to the snap to see where his guys will be and how the defense is playing. This kid has a powerful delivery and is a smart passer. His base is solid, so his attempts aren’t forced. There’s a lot to behold of this young standout quarterback.
