Kansas State held the last of its 2025 Elite Football Camps on Thursday, June 18th, bringing together top talent from across the nation. Head Coach Chris Klieman and his staff observed high-level competition, ranging from nationally ranked prospects to emerging under-the-radar athletes who turned heads with breakout performances.
Kansas State invited “The Platform” to attend the event, offering a closer look at some of the top talent aiming to earn a Wildcat offer.
Standout Performers from the Kansas State Elite Camp
Zephyr Kreye | 2027 | QB | Denton Guyer HS (Denton, TX)

One of the most highly rated quarterbacks in the 2027 class, Kreye already holds offers from Texas Tech, Houston, Colorado State, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas State, and North Texas. After an elite showing in Manhattan, Kansas State is expected to join that list soon.
At 6’4”, 220 lbs, Kreye showcased advanced ball placement and deep ball accuracy. Playing at powerhouse Denton Guyer (Tx.) and leading Grand Elite in OT7, Kreye is firmly on Kansas State’s radar, especially given their focus on Texas quarterbacks.
Isaiah Hansen | 2027 | RB | Newton HS (Newton, IA)

Hansen was the top running back at camp. Measuring 6’1”, 195 lbs, he combined size and agility to dominate both running and receiving drills.
Already offered by Iowa State and expected to receive an Iowa offer soon, Hansen’s stock will rise even higher after this performance. He ran crisp routes out of the backfield, displayed soft hands, and on film he is unstoppable between the tackles.
Brody Pfannenstiel | 2027 | DE | Hoisington HS (Hoisington, KS)

A 6’4”, 225 lb edge rusher with wide receiver speed, Brody was a force throughout the camp. His explosive first step, strong fundamentals, and versatility allow him to rush off the edge or slide inside with equal dominance.
Playing for the Kansas Colts 7v7 team in the spring has enhanced his coverage abilities. Already holding offers from Kansas and Illinois, Pfannenstiel is poised for a breakout fall.
Beau Davis | 2027 | LB | Carl Albert HS (Midwest City, OK)

The best linebacker in Manhattan, Davis showed controlled aggression and high football IQ. A multi-sport athlete and baseball standout as a right-handed pitcher, he holds offers from Louisiana Tech and Sacramento State. On film, Davis excels in coverage, reads offensive lines well, and plays with discipline and physicality.
Braylin “B2” Barnett | 2027 | CB | Mansfield Timberview HS (Arlington, TX)

A lockdown corner with elite speed, Barnett holds a 10.7 PR in the 100m. At 5’9”, 165 lbs, he was unbeatable in coverage all camp, consistently shutting down go routes and breaking up passes underneath.
A top corner nationally, Braylin is also a high academic performer, inducted into the National Honor Society on April 22, 2025.
Logan Hart | 2029 | QB | Bentonville HS (Bentonville, AR)

Only a rising freshman, Hart is the #1 quarterback in Arkansas for 2029 and already on the radar of Power 4 programs. At 5’11”, 165 lbs, Hart showed excellent pre-snap reads and threw with advanced touch and arm strength, particularly on sideline out routes.
Jalen Davis | 2026 | WR | Deer Creek HS (Edmond, OK)

A slot receiver with elite quickness, Davis was electric in route running and after the catch. He is explosive after the catch, turning short passes into big plays, he’s a game-changer on Friday nights and showed those same skills in Manhattan.
Jayden Stephens | 2028 | WR | Shell Rock HS (Waverly, IA)

At 6’0”, 180 lbs, Stephens was the most polished wide receiver at the camp, going undefeated in 1-on-1s aside from a single overthrow. Holding early offers from Iowa and Iowa State, Stephens has the tools to be a national recruit.
Adam McKnight | 2027 | QB | Nixa HS (Nixa, MO)

A starter as a sophomore, McKnight led Nixa to the Missouri 6A State Championship game with a stat line of:
- 70% Completion Rate
- 1,820 Passing Yards
- 22 Passing TDs
- 600 Rushing Yards
- 8 Rushing TDs
Offers from Missouri State and Pittsburg State are just the beginning for this dual-threat prospect.
Maxson Smiley | 2028 | QB | Colby HS (Colby, KS)
Smiley continues to climb the 2028 rankings. With a 4.0 GPA, excellent mechanics, and sharp accuracy, he impressed on intermediate throws and sideline routes. A high-IQ quarterback with consistency at every camp he’s attended.
Yamnoel Oyola-Bernier | 2026 | WR | Trinity Academy (Wichita, KS)

One of the most athletic receivers at camp, Oyola-Bernier posted top-tier agility scores:
- 4.7 40-yard dash
- 6.98 L-Cone
- 4.18 Shuttle
He consistently ranks among the top three in measurables at every camp. His acceleration and sharp cuts make him a top sleeper in the 2026 class.
Mo Darboe | 2026 | S | Blue Valley West HS (Overland Park, KS)

The best safety at camp, Darboe showcased elite zone coverage and sideline-to-sideline range. A standout basketball player as well, his multi-sport background shows in his fluidity and spatial awareness on the field.
Conner Bush | 2026 | RB | Rossville HS (Rossville, KS)

A true two-way player, Bush has elite burst through the hole and downhill acceleration. He rushed for 690 yards and 12 TDs last season while also recording 120 tackles, 2 INTs, and 11 PBUs on defense.
With a 4.23 GPA, he’s the definition of a high-character, high-performance athlete.
Reign Illian | 2027 | QB | Maize South HS (Maize, KS)

At 6’5”, 200 lbs, Illian has the physical tools of a college-ready quarterback. A 4.75 40-yard dash and strong performance on the move impressed the coaching staff. Competing in top camps including Elite 11 and the DFW Showcase, Reign is gaining traction among Power 4 programs.
Final Thoughts
Kansas State’s final Elite Camp of the year brought a mix of established stars and rising prospects who made their mark in front of the Wildcats’ coaching staff. With talent stretching across the 2026 through 2029 classes, the camp highlighted just how competitive recruiting battles will be in the coming years and K-State is making sure it stays in the mix for some of the best.
