    Preseason Spotlight (Texas): North Crowley vs Euless Trinity Scrimmage (Standouts)

    The North Crowley Panthers, reigning Class 6A Division I state champions, faced off against the Euless Trinity Trojans, a 2024 playoff contender, in a much-anticipated preseason scrimmage that delivered plenty of standout moments. North Crowley, returning a roster stacked with talent, looked every bit like a team ready to defend its title, while Trinity introduced a new quarterback and added fresh elements to its traditionally hard-hitting style. The matchup provided an early barometer for both programs and highlighted several players who could be on the verge of breakout seasons

    Damarion Mays (2028) – WR

    • Big, physical receiver with quickness and explosiveness. 
    • Large catch radius and strong hands—wins contested catches and high-point balls. 
    • Hauled in one touchdown against elite DB John Meredith III (2027). 
    • Looked in midseason form as a 4⭐ prospect and top WR in the 2028 class. 

    Kiante Ingram (2027) – RB

    • Quick and elusive with an elite jump cut and instant burst. 
    • Low center of gravity and excellent contact balance. 
    • Dangerous receiving threat out of the backfield with soft hands. 
    • Could eclipse 1,000+ total yards this season. 

    Hayes Cloutier (2027) – QB

    • Strong-armed passer with good pocket posture and poise. 
    • Reads defenses well and makes accurate throws. 
    • Dual-threat athlete who escapes pressure and can create in space. 

    DeMarcus Harris II (2026) – QB

    • Accurate passer with touch on the deep ball. 
    • Shows good vision downfield and delivers into tight windows. 

    John Turntine III (2026) – OL – Texas Commit

    • Elite footwork and athleticism for his size. 
    • Controls defenders early in reps and plays with a physical, dominant style. 

    King Irvin (2029) – OL

    • Plays with good leverage and strong, accurate hands. 
    • Stout at the point of attack with quickness off the ball. 
    • Dominant scrimmage earned him a Texas A&M offer after the game. 

    Hayden Green (2028) – WR

    • Big-bodied receiver with strong hands and separation ability. 
    • Quick release off the line, runs crisp routes. 
    • Caught a deep touchdown over the top. 

    Aaron Bradshaw (2026) – DB – Texas Tech Commit

    • Rangy safety with great play recognition and range. 
    • Physical tackler who supports well against the run. 

    Elijajuan Houston (2027) – DB

    • Good feet and smooth movement skills with long arms in coverage. 
    • Physical, controlled tackler who attacks the alley. 
    • Three-star recruit with double-digit offers including Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Baylor, SMU, and Houston.

    Mack Lineweaver (2027) – QB

    • Athletic passer with arm strength to make every throw. 
    • Calm in the pocket and accurate on the move. 
    • Adds a new passing dimension to Trinity’s offense without sacrificing tempo. 

    Juntavious Harris (2026) – RB – Texas State Commit

    • Powerful, explosive runner with excellent contact balance. 
    • Vision to find cutback lanes and quickness to hit top speed. 
    • Scored on the ground and contributed as a receiver. 

    John Meredith III (2027) – DB

    • Elite press-man corner with long arms and quick feet. 
    • Smooth transition into backpedal with fluid hips. 
    • Top DB in the 2027 class—shutdown ability on the perimeter. 

    Jaylon Donaldson (2026) – WR

    • Field-stretching speed with strong hands. 
    • Tracks deep passes well and finished an over-the-shoulder TD grab. 

    Gordon Mohetau (2026) – LB

    • Instinctive, high-motor linebacker with sideline-to-sideline range.
