GREAT DAY TO BECOME EPIC EPIC7 MidWest Tryouts
One of the longest running, most successful and historically talented 7v7 teams in Kansas City, EPIC7 MidWest held tryouts for their 2026 Season Roster on December 20th and 21st at Oak Park High School in Kansas City, Missouri.
Epic7 has been a part of the Kansas City and MidWest 7v7 landscape, culture and growth of the sport since their inaugural 2015-2016 Season. They have not only been competitive every year since, but have also served as the sport of 7v7 pinnacle of which all area teams strive to accomplish.
Being in existence since 2015-2016, could only be accomplished through doing things the right way ethically, professionally, and most importantly about their athletes best interest.
After Graduating many top D1 Power 4 players from last season, EPIC7 looks to be even more athletic this season with athletes from all across the Kansas City region.
December 21st, EPIC7 Coach Justin McCay invited DRSportz and “The Platform” to attend try outs.
After watching tryouts, DRSportz and “The Platform” are extremely excited to watch the 2026 EPIC7 team compete with their loaded roster.
Some standout performers included
QB Jack Clemens (@Jack_Clemens8) the 6’3” 190lbs 2028 Clemens plays High School ball for Oak Park HS. With God given football talent, this 2028 QB will be a top recruit from Missouri after great exposure from EPIC7 and continued success on Friday Nights.
Joining Clemens at the QB helm will be Richmond High School 2027 Jacob Lieberknecht. One of the most polished 2027 QB’s in the MidWest, Lieberknecht is poised to become EPIC7 next Rocco Marriot and land a major D1 Power 4 commitment. Scouts and College Coaches are really excited to watch this QB work this spring.
