Top Colorado QB Nick Radi Signs with Historical Power Morningside University

Top Colorado Quarterback, Nick Radi from Thomas Jefferson High School Signed with Historically powerful and title winning Morningside University, February 4th signing day.

Playing for Coach Daniel Vigil and the DUCKS 7v7 for many years, Radi developed into one of the top quarterbacks in the state of Colorado, while also visiting many camps across the country, showing his talent to college coaches.

DRSportz MidWest Scout, “Buckets” has been a longtime follower and fan of Nick Radi. “Buckets” spoke with Radi about his decision to commit to Morningside University.

DRSportz: You had an extremely successful career at Thomas Jefferson High School and 7v7 career for DUCKS 7v7. With that success came a great number of offers. What stood out at the historically successful football program Morningside, that made you choose the Mustangs?

Nick Radi: They have a great history of football and a lot of championships. They like to throw the ball a lot and the coaching staff is top-notch and I really like the campus.

DRSportz: You are one of the top quarterbacks in Colorado. Morningside is located in Sioux City, Iowa. How did Morningside notice your talent?

Nick Radi: I built a relationship with the recruiting coach for Colorado pretty early in the process and we developed a lot of rapport and communication and just stayed in touch with him and sent a lot of film.

DRSportz: Along with the DUCKS 7v7, I followed you to many camps as well. Are there any certain exposure camps you would advise 2027 & 2028 to attend?

Nick Radi: I would tell the kids coming up to only attend camps where you’re starting to develop a relationship with the coaches in the staff and the recruiting coordinator as opposed to just showing up to a camp because of a logo.

DRSportz: What are the key suggestions for 2027 and 2028 recruits that you can advise them on, when trying to get recruited?

Nick Radi: I would tell the 27’s and 28’s to be very active on X. Send a lot of film, grades, workouts. Follow the coaches of schools you’re interested in and start DM Ing them and emailing that content and don’t stop.

DRSportz: What will you be studying at Morningside?

Nick Radi: I will be studying business management, but I’m undecided too completely.
