28′ WR Deontae Fleming (@Tae10kk) had a really good showing in New Orleans this past weekend. He displayed the ability to separate, has great bursts, and strong hands. Fleming had nearly 800 yards and averaged over 21 yards per reception in his sophomore season to go along with 8 touchdowns. He has long arms and adequate size to be a real impact player at the next. He’s still shaping into his frame, but that will come with time. Keep this kid on your radar.
27′ QB Jordan Ramsey (@jordanramsey_4) has a natural aura and confidence without even saying a word that you just want your quarterback to have. His poise is admirable. He had everything rolling in his arsenal. He has good footwork, can throw off platform, and deliver quick strikes on a rope. Ramsey is criminally undervalued, and his film shows a player who should have multiple offers by now. He can be an efficient, elite, dual-threat quarterback. In today’s game, you see many teams running RPO style offenses, and that would bode well for Ramsey. I believe it’s only a matter of time before this kid gets the recognition he deserves.
27′ WR Davie Griffin (@Davie_Griffin6) played really well in DR7-New Orleans. Griffin was a solid, consistent target for his high school QB Jordan Ramsey. Griffin just knew how to get open. He works the middle of the field and understands when to sit down on his route and wait on the pass. He’s a smart, technical receiver that has next level speed in the open field.
27′ WR Jaxon Matlock (@MatlockJaxon) was a pleasant surprise to watch in New Orleans this past weekend. Matlock is a fiery, intense athlete who showed out on both sides of the ball. I love football players who can back up anything they say and be versatile on both sides. He can run routes, create in space, catch in traffic and that’s just offense. He showed up big on Sunday on the defensive side by breaking up passes and showing tight coverage. This kid just loves to compete and will be a treasure to a college program.
27′ DB Aiden Martin (@AidenMartin27) is point blank a Saturday kid. This young man is a hard-hitting safety with great field awareness. He comes downhill rapidly, and before you know it, the ball carrier is on the turf. Martin already looks the part physically and could grow even more. He has offers from Houston, Oklahoma State, Baylor, Iowa State, and others. He just imposes his will from the secondary. Aiden can also be effective in coverage and can create takeaways. Look for him to have a major summer.
28′ WR Urijah Robillard (@UrijahRobillard) was the offensive MVP for F3 Elite after winning the 15U in DR7-New Orleans. This kid is a good, young receiver with a plethora of tools. He’s a really good possession receiver who can accelerate really well in the open field. Robillard displayed consistency and showed up in big time moments for his team. Keep an eye out for this kid.
