Class of 2030 WR Noel Devine Jr. put on a show on Day One at DR7 Tampa, proving he’s one of the most exciting young prospects in the country.
The 5-foot-9 speedster was nearly unguardable throughout the day. Devine Jr. consistently created separation, caught passes at every level of the field, and ran routes with the polish of a veteran well beyond his years. His elite quickness and ability to change direction make him extremely difficult for defenders to stay in phase with.
Devine Jr. displayed reliable hands, explosive burst, and elite short-area quickness, showing the ability to cut on a dime and accelerate instantly after the catch. One of the top plays of the day showcased his entire skill set, stopping and starting in the open field, shifting past defenders, and accelerating past the defense for a touchdown in a 7v7 setting.
When you turn on his fall tape, the big-play ability becomes even more evident. Devine Jr. has the speed and separation ability to score from anywhere on the field regardless of down or distance.
He recently turned heads at the Under Armour Camp, where he ran an impressive 4.46 forty-yard dash, an eye-opening mark for an eighth grader.
Even more impressive, Devine Jr. stepped up and competed in the 18U division this weekend and still delivered a dominant performance against much older competition.
Already holding offers from Miami, South Florida, and West Virginia, Devine Jr. is quickly establishing himself as a future national recruit with the tools and upside of a potential four-star prospect down the road.
It was an impressive start to the weekend for one of the most electric young playmakers in attendance at DR7 Tampa.
