Jay’don Roux | Manatee
A big factor on the field that you know will be a playmaker for his team. Very respectable young man off the field but can turn it up for game time. He uses his natural speed on offense to not only outrun defenders to score but also on defense to hawk down and haul in interceptions.
Jaxon Marra | Team Elite All The Smoke
Well advanced reaction time and twitch from this young student athlete. Controls great energy that translates to the field to run quick routes seamlessly. His quick awareness allows him to maneuver through defenses into open space.
Anthony “AJ” McLeod Jr. | Tampa Flex
Notably one of the biggest kids on the field in this age group made sure to use that to his advantage. Confident to muscle through receptions no matter how many defenders are on him. Was the hot target in the Redzone when it came to crunch time.
Chase Plumpstead | 300 Boyz
Plumpstead turned heads on Saturday becoming the most reliable athlete on the field. Was a magnet to the ball on defense causing disruption while being a threat on offense as well as a dependable receiver. Also impressed with the ability to step in at QB as well to dot up a defense.
The Importance of 8u
The 8u division is the foundation of building a young athlete. As one of the best developmental stages, the love for the game happens right before your eyes. With the early start to their young careers they give themselves a head start in their in game productivity.
