    Edmond North (OK) QB Laykon Brassfield Heads to Texas, Transfers to Lewisville in DFW

    Class of 2028 quarterback Laykon Brassfield is headed to the Lone Star State, transferring from Edmond North (OK) to Lewisville High School in the DFW Metroplex to suit up for the Fighting Farmers.

    The 6-foot-2, 205-pound quarterback brings a versatile and intriguing skill set to the Lewisville offense. Brassfield possesses a quick release and elite arm talent, giving him the ability to push the football to every level of the field. His accuracy and timing allow him to consistently deliver catchable balls, while his natural athleticism adds another layer to his game.

    Brassfield also shows excellent pocket presence, demonstrating the ability to feel pressure, extend plays, and keep his eyes downfield. When the play breaks down, he has the mobility to create with his legs and pick up yards on the ground.

    He joins a Lewisville program that reached the playoffs last season, adding another talented piece to a roster that already features next-level talent across the field.
