It’s almost here, high school football kicking off once again.
The time of year when prep football players come together for fall camp, that’s getting started across America. Whether this week, or perhaps in another week or two, high school football is starting up once again.
The local heroes that battle it out on the gridiron. It’s fun. It’s exciting. It’s unique. There’s nothing quite like Friday Night Lights.
As another season comes upon us, know that these young players, as well as all of those people that support them – parents, coaches, administrators, trainers, cheerleaders, etc. – are all a part of the spectacle.
It’s a blast. Enjoy it. Those of us at DR Sportz definitely do. It’s what we live for, just like all of you, the fans. Yes, members of DR Sportz live and die for seven-on-seven season, as that’s what we do from February into the summer. That’s a combination of having fun first, and then for players to get better for their upcoming high school seasons.
It’s not one or the other, it’s both. When the pads come on, that’s when high school football truly begins. We all know it. That’s what the off season leads to, and high school football should be celebrated to the fullest from coast to coast now that it’s about to begin.
From a team’s fall camp featuring the Oklahoma drill to the fourth-and-one play that decides a state championship, high school football is almost here. Now let’s all go out and support the players and teams that make up this great exhibition that we all love.
