28′ RB Aaden Lissade @AadenLissade
Lissade looked like a natural wide receiver for Underdog Mentality this past Sunday. This kid ran crisp routes, had great hands and had a motor that was on another level from everyone else. Aaden have a stout frame and will obviously grow over time. Speaking with Lissade, he told me running back is his primary position and he’s certainly built for it. He has the tools to be a great, catch & run back for years to come.
Whitfield, similar to Aaden Lissade plays a totally different position in pads than we he plays 7v7. I’m sure at some point, he’ll play both ways because this kid can really jump out the gym. Kamauri is one of the most athletic, young guys I’ve seen all year – he’s great at high pointing the ball and squeezing it once it’s in his possession so the defender can’t knock it loose. The size is there, he has great frame and his mobility is eye catching as well.
RB Aiden Casta
Casta was an early standout on Sunday making plays all over the field. This young man towered over most kids in his age bracket, giving him a physical advantage that most teams just could not deal with. Casta caught the ball very well, no matter if it was low or high. Aiden was extremely effective in the red zone by scoring touchdowns as well as the conversion. Be on the look out for this kid for years to come.
QB Dominic Lizzmore
Lizzmore was consistent throughout the day and was a huge part in his team’s success. Dominic made every throw imaginable but the most impressive thing was his poised. He always had the look on his face that said they were going to score when the ball was in his hands. Lizzmore have really good footwork and throwing motion. Only time will tell how good this kid can be but the sky is the limit.
Dedric Grady is an uncommitted athlete looking for an opportunity and trust me, he’s deserving. After watching him play 7v7, I turned on his HUDL film and he’s electric! Making plays in the return game, returning interceptions for touchdowns, all while being a deep threat on the offensive end, Dedric can and will be an asset to many programs out there in need of a do-it-all playmaker. Grady may be small in stature but he plays larger than life. There were several times I jumped out my seat after he made a miraculous catch to ignite his team. Don’t sleep on this hidden gem, someone will give him a chance and they’ll be thankful for it.
26′ ATH Braylen Moore (@Braaylenn)
Braylen Moore is a dual sport athlete in football and basketball. Moore stands about a solid 6’2 with long range that will help him in both the gridiron and the court. I was pleasantly surprised to know that this kid is only a sophomore. I would love to see how he tests at different spotlight camps because I believe he have physical attributes as well as the talent to get offered early. Moore plays wide receiver and safety. He’s fast and physical – two things that comes natural. Moore have strong hands and ball skills that are coveted at the next level. Expect great things from this kid going forward.
