The DR7 #Road To The Crown had it’s final stop of the season in Texas to #Settle It On The Turf and the talent on the field featured some of the top talent in the country. If you ball, you get the call. The mission and goal of The Platform is to #ExposeTheUnexposed and provide adequate coverage of athletes around the country giving them exposure. Here are several ballers who played lights out all weekend and should be on all radars on the recruiting trail.
Bryce Taylor | Class of 2029 | Athlete | 7v7 : Drillz 4 Lyfe | Cunningham
Taylor was one of the top playmakers for Drillz 4 Lyfe during pool play on day one. He was impressive on both sides of the ball recording a ton of breaks ups and he flipped to offensive side of the ball and was a reliable target. He has great ball skills in the secondary and plays with a chip on his shoulder. There is a lot of room to grow for this class of 2029 athlete in whatever position he decides to play.
Jayden Broadway | Class of 2029 | Athlete | 7v7: Drillz 4 Lyfe | Northshore
Broadway is a player with elite speed and quickness. Jayden is a handful in the open field, who because of his speed and shifty footwork can make you miss in the blink of an eye. He was a nightmare for defenders in space, playing fast with excellent leverage and a low center of gravity. He blazes by defenders with ease. Size may be an issue now but with time and room to grow he should develop into a huge star. He is a class of 2029 speedster to keep your eyes on.

Page has been impressive at several stops on the #Road To The Crown with True Buzz, he has been a consistent playmaker and the way he played on day one of the National Championship was lights out. He’s a human joystick on the field. He checks all boxes combined with speed, he has sticky hands and he excelled at contested jump balls. He snatched a couple grabs for crucial first down plays where he climbed the ladder to bring in a difficult catch. He has a slender build, with a frame that has room to grow. With a good offseason and summer training he should gain some traction on the recruiting scene.
George Rogers | Class of 2025 | Running | 7v7: True Buzz | Anna High School | @G3orgerogers
Rogers has a compact, stout build with broad shoulders and he uses his frame to his advantage to make grabs in heavy traffic. Roger’s playing style is similar to NFL running back Deuce Vaughn. He has great balance and shows flashes of elusiveness that enable him to get open often. George is phonebooth quick, he has the ability to excel at runs after the catch, making defenders miss in the open field. He showed flashes of power with the ability to cut up the field with ease. Rogers has the skill set combined with a well put together build that makes him a prospect to get eyes on heading into his senior campaign in 2024.
Malachi Muhammad | Running Back | Class of 2025 | 7v7: Loaf Boys | @malachi10m
Muhammad wins early off the ball with his quickness and route running proficiency. He is jitterbug quick, his footwork is clean and he was able to get open often no matter what coverage the defense attempted to play against him. His quickness, sticky hands and clean route running allowed to compete at different speed. Malachi has a compact frame combined with his ability to play fast and change gears quickly enables him to be a threat with the ball in his hands. The Arkansas native, is a prospect that college programs should get eyes on in 2024.
Jermaine Bush III| Defensive Back | Class of 2028 | 7v7: 251 Family (Alabama) | @jermainebush
Bush III is a big time prospect on the defensive side of the ball, who plays outstanding in space and he has great size and quickness. Bush III enters high school as an athlete, but he excels on the defensive side at safety, he has clean footwork, he transitions into his backpedal smoothly, plays with discipline and runs sideline to sideline. Jermaine has the skill set to be a difference maker on either side of the ball. He is a prospect in the 2028 class to keep an eye on who has the potential to be a household name.

Brown has been building a reputation as one the best players in his class and he was even more impressive watching him in person. Every route is a separation opportunity for Brown, a touchdown-making machine who pairs electrifying top-end speed with twitchy short-area quickness. His routes are fast and effective on all three levels and he displayed the ability to track the ball in flight effectively. Brown is dangerous with the ball in his hands after the catch, showing excellent quickness and elusiveness in the open field. His speed and explosion off the ball made defenders back off on him when playing press coverage. Michael will one the top incoming freshman to keep an eye on this fall and his recruiting is taking off after picking up an Ole Miss offer recently.
Ayven Rangel | Quarterback | Class of 2028 | 7v7: HPA | Fulshear High School
Rangel is a field general who wins consistently on the 7v7 Circuit and his skill set will be just as effective on the gridiron in pads. He has good arm strength and he throws the deep ball really well. Rangel plays with good patience, he makes throws in rhythm and this allows his receivers to get open. I watched him dissect defenses and throw multiple touchdowns to lead his team to DR7 National Championship. Keep your eyes on Rangel as he transitions to the high school level.
