QB House Midwest Retreat: Vanderbilt Camp Standouts

Day Two of the QB House Midwest Bus Retreat was one to build on. Vanderbilt was the camp host on Sunday where various DOGS on the bus improved their performances. Let’s get into some of the notable standouts who are making noise.

    Kendall Johnson | WR | 2025 | ZCA | @KxndallJxhnson

Not sure how this kid doesn’t have 15+ offers. He totaled over 20 touchdowns in his junior season with real deal skills to make plays on both sides of the ball. He’s already received two offers on the tour with six more camps to go. Austin Peay was the most recent to offer after dominating at the Vanderbilt camp. Route running, strong hands, technique, and coachable. Kid have all the tools to play D1 ball.

    Jaylen White | QB | 2026 | Clearwater | @jaylen_white12

White was in his groove today and you could tell in his execution. Vanderbilt coaches were already familiar with White as they came down to watch his spring game but it’s always a positive to get kids up to your campus. He looked fluid from warmups which led to some nice throws in the individual period and the 1v1 session. I’d expect him to pick up some D1 offers in the days to come.

    Joel Morris | QB | 2026 | Sumner | @Joe1morris

Morris checks a lot of boxes when he steps off the bus which raises the bar of expectation. He thrived today with competition at hand and coaches with eyes on his every throw. Left with multiple coaches saying how talented and solid he looked today. He has a chance to play P4 ball as we head into his junior season.

    Dylan Nahra | QB | 2025 | Boca Ciega | @DylanNahra

Nahra has one of the nicest spiral throws I’ve seen. The lefty has a solid lower frame and good footwork mechanics he uses to whip the ball around. He’s an experienced QB on the tour that has a chance to lock in some college interest. That’s how you do it as Nahra earned his name today as one of the top standouts at the camp.

    Evan Brady | QB | Transfer Portal | @Evan_Brady12

Brady has the speed and skills to play all over the field but the cannon for an arm that can get him to the next level at the QB position. He has one of the better deep balls in the area. His ability to create a rushing threat while still delivering tough throws makes him an interesting prospect.

    Braylon Cave | QB | 2029 | @Bmax_thedux

The youngest pup on the tour looked like a seasoned vet as he dominated the 1v1 period with spiral throws and deep ball accuracy. He plays well above his age and will develop into one of the top QBs in his class. Has everything you want in a young QB: coachable, confident, mobile footwork, strong arm, and hard worker.

    Gavin Galish | QB | 2026 | Osceola | @Gavin_Galish

Truly impressed with how Galish has added weight to his frame and developed his overall mechanics and throwing release. This kid has the chance to lock in some college interest as one of the better-rising 2026 QBs in his area. He’s put in the extra work in the offseason which is starting to show in Day Two on the tour.
