DR7 Davenport laid witness to something that rarely happens in 7v7 football, a defense completely taking over a bracket game.
In Sunday’s 15U Bracket Play, TMS 7v7 out of Miami delivered a commanding 28–8 victory and here’s the part that makes it historic:
All 28 points came off Pick-6 interceptions.
No offensive touchdowns.
No short fields.
Just pure defensive domination.
Leading the charge was Artis Thomas, who accounted for two Pick-6 touchdowns and added a third interception that flipped momentum but did not reach the end zone. His range, ball skills, and instincts were on full display, a clinic in reading quarterback eyes and triggering downhill.
Nayleen Adderly and Jacory Frederic each added Pick-6 scores of their own, capitalizing on tight windows and aggressive route jumps. Every takeaway felt inevitable as the pressure mounted.
What separated this group wasn’t just individual playmaking, it was collective discipline. Tight man coverage forced quarterbacks to hold the ball. Coordinated pressure packages hurried decisions. Passing lanes were erased. When throws were made, defenders were already in position.
In a format built to favor offense, TMS 15U flipped the script.
This wasn’t just a win.
It was one of the most dominant defensive performances ever witnessed at a DR7 event.
