27′ CB John Meredith (@JOHN_MEREDITH2) is the nation’s top ranked player in the class of 2027. He currently holds over 40 offers from some of the best programs in the country. He previously attended Trinity in Euless, TX, but will play his senior season at North Crowley. Meredith is a big, physical corner who isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. He’s never out of phase and plays the ball in the air at an elite level. Whoever lands him will get an impact player from day one.
27′ SAF Elijajuan Houston (@Fats_D1) is a ball magnet. He possesses great ball skills and closing speed. Quarterbacks fear him because he has the ability to take create turnovers. Houston has oily hips and can stop on a dime and reroute back across the field in a split second. He’s rated as a 3 star recruit, but his film suggests higher than that. He has the size and all of the intangibles you need to be a really good defensive back at the next level. With offers from 40+ schools, Houston will be an asset to any program that is lucky enough to get his signature.
27′ RB Kiante Ingram (@kbingram23) looks to end his high school career with a bang. It’s amazing to believe he was a part of that 2023 North Crowley undefeated team that had one of the most impressive seasons in Texas high school football history. Ingram is a hard runner and can also catch out of the backfield. He’s a true three down back. He has a stocky build and is low to the ground when he runs, which makes it tough for defenders to bring him down. Expect a huge 2026 season from Kiante Ingram.
27′ WR Aubrey Johnson (@AubreyJohnson_7) is a name to know in the Houston area. He recently won a state championship at North Shore High School. He’s a tall, athletic built receiver with long arms and a wide catch radius. He can really be fun to watch once the ball is in his hands. His yards after the catch ability is arguably what stands out the most amongst many other quality traits. He attacks the ball in the air and can position his frame to where the defender can’t make a play on it. Johnson has sneaky speed and can accelerate more the longer he runs. Finishing his high school career with a 1,000-yard season would be an incredible feat and very doable for the state champ. He already has offers from Texas Tech, UTSA, and UTEP, and will continue to add on really soon.
27′ WR Pryce Demerson (@PryceDemerson) was the best player I saw with my own eyes at DR7-Fort Worth this past weekend. This kid put on a route running clinic. There was nothing he couldn’t do & there was nothing defensive backs could do to slow him down. Demerson has really great separation skills and some of the best sudden twitch moves I’ve seen. He’s small in stature but isn’t limited at all. He’s also a burner in the open field and can take the top off. If that translates on Friday nights, North Crowley will have another breakout star.
28′ QB Brailon Davis (@BMoney2028) was a breath of fresh air watching him play. Oftentimes, in 7v7, young quarterbacks create bad habits with their mechanics. That wasn’t the case with Brailon. You can tell he’s being coached the right way and doesn’t fall into the trap that a lot of players do in 7v7. His arm talent was eye-popping. The ball was on a string every time he let it go. He got the size to play the position and can make every throw that’s needed. Davis is only a sophomore and will look to take it up a notch at Mansfield Summit in the fall. I expect a major out from him in 2026. This kid is a D1 level quarterback undoubtedly.
27′ TE Wyatt Bryant (@WyattJBryant19) won the 18U offensive MVP in DR7-Fort Worth. He recently transferred to the Oakridge School in Arlington & he’ll make an immediate impact there. Bryant has really strong hands and works the middle of the field at an elite level. This is a big-bodied, solid, tight end that looks the part and plays it as well. He can be effective next to a tackle or lined up in the slot. However, the thing I love the most about this kid is how fierce he is at blocking. He can really move some people. Bryant also plays defensive end and can make plays there as well. There should never be a time when this kid isn’t on the field unless he calls for a break himself. Look out for a big senior campaign.
29′ DB Elijah Williams (@Elijahwill2029) was incredible this past weekend in DR7-Fort Worth. His coverage skills are polished for such a young talent. He made several elite, game defining plays on defense. He did it with sound technique, speed, and an eye for the ball. This kid knows how to play through the ball without illegally contacting the receiver. Nowadays, it’s tough to be a physical defensive back in football with all of the rules. Every time you look up and the pass is incomplete, there’s a good chance that was because Elijah had something to do with it. In a couple of years, this kid may be on everyone’s radar.
