The Crown 7v7 National Championships brought elite teams from across the country and even Canada, to battle it out for national bragging rights. With high-level competition and scouts in attendance, players knew this was their moment to rise up and prove they belong on the biggest stages.
Here are some of the standout performers who delivered in the spotlight of their respective teams in the title games:
Axton Underwood – @AxtonUnderwood
2028 ATH | Plant High School | 7v7: 14U 813 Hawks
Axton Underwood was a defensive nightmare for opposing offenses in the 14U title game. He consistently blanketed receivers entering his zone, forcing quarterbacks to either take sacks or redirect their throws elsewhere. His ability to use the hand-feel technique to track receivers without looking back at the quarterback was elite.
While many defensive backs lose contact and require time to recover, Underwood uses subtle tugs and hand placement to anticipate breaks, eliminating recovery time and making multiple pass breakups (PBUs) in the process. He also showed he has the size and speed to stay step-for-step on go routes. A key defensive piece in 813 Hawks’ title win, Underwood is a name college programs should start circling.
Jackson Conte – @contewr1
2028 WR | Plant High School | 7v7: 14U 813 Hawks
On the offensive side of 813 Hawks’ championship win, Jackson Conte was the guy. Just as he did throughout the weekend, Conte found every hole in zone coverage and consistently created separation against man. In the title game, he delivered with three touchdowns, plus two more receptions including a key first down grab.
Conte’s ability to get upfield immediately after the catch and his chemistry with his quarterback were on full display. He plays beyond his years, showing a high football IQ, dependable hands, and a clear understanding of how to get open. One of the most reliable young slot receivers out of the Tampa area, Conte’s stock is rising fast.
King Rivera – @k1ngrvera
2028 WR/DB | Durant High School | 15U Team Elite All The Smoke
No one turned more heads in the 15U bracket than King Rivera. The electrifying WR for Team Elite All The Smoke was unguardable all weekend and sealed the title game with a clutch touchdown reception.
Rivera’s “waterbug” quickness and deep-knee route running made it nearly impossible for defenders to stick with him. He consistently caught the ball with extended hands and showcased a full route tree with sharp cuts and elite timing. With his combination of speed, savvy, and hands, Rivera will be a top 2028 WR to watch nationally.
Lukas Viselli – @Lukasviselli_2
2027 WR | Eau Gallie High School | 18U Certified Dawgs
Viselli was the offensive engine behind Certified Dawgs’ 18U championship win, putting defenders on skates with precise, deceptive route running and explosive acceleration. Whether it was finding soft spots in coverages or pulling away on go routes, Lukas made the big plays.
In the title game, Viselli hauled in 2 touchdowns, 2 extra points, and a crucial first down. His knack for reading DB leverage and making last-second cuts created wide-open opportunities all game long. Expect Viselli to keep building buzz this offseason as a dependable, high-IQ playmaker with big-play ability.
