Zach Collins has emerged as one of, if not THE BEST offensive line coach/trainer in the state of Texas. The stable he has been able to build over the years is second to none, responsible for over a hundred division 1 linemen and nearing the double digit mark as well for NFL Linemen. Coach Zach isn’t one of those trainers who latches on later, he has earned the trust from parents all over the state to work with their student athletes as early as the youth/pee wee level, in perfecting the lineman craft and enhancing their game to be prepared for all gamedays. Over the last few years Coach Zach has hosted his “For The Trenches” Lineman Only camp and has turned into a lineman hotbed that is used to discover and identify the next rising lineman prospect. As many say, “Lineman need love too”, Coach Zach understands this and successfully has built a pipeline for college coaches to use to find their next QB protector. Over Memorial Day Weekend Coach Zach, PVAMU Alum, brought his camp back home to Arlington, TX where over 35 lineman from all over the state of Texas arrived to work on their craft and compete for bragging rights in the trenches.
TOP PERFORMERS
Mar’chael Carter | 2028 DT | Arlington Seguin HS

Awarded MVP of the camp after going UNDEFEATED in the trenches during the 1v1 portion of the camp. Mar’Chael is a 6ft defensive tackle with quick reactions to get off the line of scrimmage, vicious hands as well to fight off any engagement from an offensive lineman and slip past the first line of defense to cause havoc with his backfield presence.
Rashad Chandler | 2027 Edge/LB | Dallas Carter HS

The 4-sport athlete caught my attention with his display of power he has. Standing at 6’2″ and 235, Mr. Chandler has a very strong base in his lower body that generates the power he needs to drive through offensive linemen. Also has impressive arm strength as he was able to create separation with just one arm to make his way into the backfield. Also had a lot of success in the trenches with his spin move adding on to his athleticism.
Caden Williams | 2027 DT/NG | Royse City HS

One thing I do know is that Coach Colvin should be proud of the way Caden Williams represented the Royse City Bulldogs while competing in the trenches. A well respectful student athlete that outs his nose down and attacks off the line. Multiple times in the 1v1 portion of the camp Mr. Williams did not let up on the physicality fighting off the hands and ripping through protection his opponent to win reps in the backfield.
Justin Jenkins | 2028 OT | Lancaster HS

One of the tallest offensive lineman at the camp, listed at 6’5″ and hosting a lean 265 lbs, Mr. Jenkins has all the attributes to be a pristine division 1 recruit. With a long wingspan, Justin uses his ability to engage in protection first. Can seal blocks on the outside with maximum separation and keeps his feet square underneath him to drive forward and clear the way.
Michael Keen | 2027 RT | Columbia HS

The technique and fundamentals from Mr. Keen allowed him to stand out on the weekend. Keeps his feet square ands hips underneath him at all times. Even with a height of 6″7′, that doesn’t stop him from bring the lower man at the line of scrimmage to bully his opponents. Along with wide hands he is able to latch onto defenders between the shoulder pads and have total control to drive you into the ground.
Randall Wren | 2028 OT | North Forney HS

Another lengthy offensive lineman that should be on your radar soon. Randall Wren is a hardnosed student athlete that plays through the whistle. His ability to mirror defensive lineman coming off the ball is impressive. The 6’4″ offensive tackle has swift feet to stay in front of defensive linemen, and when the pads are on it seems as almost every play for him results in a pancake.
