    Offers / Recruitment:

Offers from Tennessee, Duke, Arkansas State, Florida Atlantic and UNC Charlotte have begun to roll in for Williams. In April, Williams had an up close and personal look at the University of Tennessee when they hosted the talented defensive back.  As Williams hits the road on the RI5E Elite Bus tour, there is a strong possibility that the second team All-State Selection will add to a growing list of suitors.

    Film Breakdown:

Williams is a downhill safety, who takes the proper pursuit angles and keeps his shoulders square when making tackles in the open field. Williams is a versatile player with ability to line up as a box safety and be a force in run support.  The senior safety is also valuable weapon in the blitz package. Williams is a playmaker and consistently makes his presence felt by being disruptive. Williams attacks ballcarriers with a seek and destroy mentality. Williams has a nose for the football and his natural instincts allow him to be a head hunter from multiple positions. At 6’0 200 Lbs., Williams is long, athletic and he has a powerful lower half. Williams plays under control. Williams has disciplined eyes and hits like freight train. Williams has the speed to cover wideouts in the slot and the range to cover the deep ball.

    Future Projection:

Williams has the tools to be a major factor at the next level. Whatever campus he chooses, look for Williams to compete for early playing time. Williams has the skill set to cause havoc from all angles against his opponents. Once Williams gets entrenched fully into a college program’s playbook and has access to a college strength and conditioning program, look for him to flourish. Williams’s stock will continue to rise because of his athleticism and his ability to be a plug and play defender. As Williams moves forward with his recruitment, look for more offers to come his way.
