    Have Speed Will Travel: Coast 2 Coast Athletics Training

    Coast 2 Coast Athletics has been helping athletes for over a decade, by mentoring and training each athlete that comes through the program as well as their families and assisting them at preparing for their particular sport.. All sports require a solid foundation and Coast 2 Coast Athletics focuses on teaching functional movement. Today’s group of athletes got the fireworks going early on July 4th. The goal and mission of The Platform is to Expose The Unexposed. Here are the athletes from the Coast 2 Coast Athletics camp in held in Fort Worth.

     

    Noel Butler | Class of 2026 | Lake Ridge High School

    Butler is a twitchy athlete, he has a stout build and he moves fluidly. Noel is a defensive back at Mansfield’s Lake Ridge High School. Throughout the workout, Butler showed explosion, speed and the ability to move quickly. Be on the  lookout for Butler this season.

     

    Alex Guillen | Class of 2024 | Midlothian High School

    Guillen is a stout, well put together athlete, he has quick, nimble feet and he has good short area quickness. Alex is primed and ready for his senior season, he came to the Coast 2 Coast Athletics Camp and showed that his work ethic is strong and he has the skill set to be a force when he lines up at his defensive tackle position. Keep an eye on Guillen in the 2023 season.

     

    Myles Hall | Class 0f 2026 | Lake Ridge High School

    Hall has quick feet, he has a thick, strong lower half and he showed that he moves well in space. Miles has a powerful burst, with good short area quickness and he displayed that he has the skill set to be disruptive from his defensive line position. Hall came out and showed that he is ready for a big 2023 season.

     

    Evan Ogwezi | Class of 2028 | Danny Jones Middle School

    Ogwezi has a long, lean, build with an extended reach and he showed off his athletic ability throughout the Coast 2 Coast Athletics Camp. Evan has good speed, during the functional drills he showed that he has some bounce in his game and he finished each drill with maximum effort. Evan is a multi-sport athlete, who excels on the football field as a quarterback and on the baseball diamond at centerfield, shortstop and third base. Ogwezi is a name to know in the next couple of years who will be making some noise in the DFW area.

     

    Christian Butler | Class of 2028 | Lake Ridge High School (will attend)

    Butler has quick feet, he has good speed and his competitiveness was on full displayed throughout the workout at the Coast 2 Coast Athletics Camp. Christian showed off his nifty footwork during the early drills, as he progressed through each station, he got stronger and finished each drill at full speed. Butler is just scratching the surface and he showed that he has the athletic ability to thrive on the football field.

     

    Hannah Locks | Class of 2025 | Lake Ridge High School

    Locks is a long strider, with a lean, athletic frame and she showed great endurance throughout the Coast 2 Coast Athletics Camp. Hannah was strong during the calisthenics, stretching and warm ups and finished strong at each station. Locks competes in Cross Country, as well as Track and Field and she showed that she has the ability to finish strong through each drill. Look for Hannah to have a strong fall in Cross Country, which will set her up to do well on the track come springtime.

     

    Nicholas Henry | Class of 2025 | Fort Worth Western Hills High School

    Henry has been training with Coast 2 Coast Athletics this offseason working on sprint mechanics, functional movement and he has been working on becoming a more explosive sprinter. Nicholas was competitive through each drill and during the stretching and calisthenics portion of the camp he concentrated on improving his technique. Henry was the first leg of the 4×100 team for Western Hills High School that finished 5th at the Class 4A Regionals in 2023 and he has the potential to improve on a successful sophomore season with the work he is putting in with Coast 2 Coast Athletics.

     

    Maximus The Great Denson | Class of 2027 | Duncanville High School 

    Denson has a long, lean, athletic frame, he has a stout build and he has the speed that will make him a difference maker when he steps on the gridiron. Maximus is entering his freshman season at Duncanville looking to compete at the quarterback position, he has an explosive burst and he has excellent flexibility.  Denson has a high ceiling and has the potential be a playmaker in 2023.
