EXPLOSIVE! The only way to describe Xavier Smith at the WR position. The burst that comes from his first step automatically puts opposing DBs at a disadvantage and once he gets even with you good luck in containing him. Not only is he a lightning quick WR, but he also is a DB who has the ability to cover ground quickly with his speed and he tracks the ball well while in coverage. His hip fluidity, understanding of routes and anticipation of what’s happening in front of him will make him stand out on any field he steps on. This is a guy who will shoot up recruiting boards after 7v7 and camp season. A true diamond in the rough that college coaches will be happy to have once he steps onto their campus!
