Friday Night Lights Shine Bright at The Crown MVP Bowl
DR7 hosted its inaugural The Crown MVP Bowl on Friday night in the Villages,Florida, bringing together top performers from the DR7 season for a thrilling showdown. The all-star matchup delivered with high-level competition and electric performances on both sides of the ball.
Defensive MVP honors went to Jordan Lane of Hustle Inc. 405, who put on a show with a pick six, multiple pass breakups, and tight coverage all game long. Lane also made a major impact on offense, tallying 3 touchdowns and an extra point, proving he was one of the most versatile players in the event.
The Offensive MVP was Javon Medlock, a late-game addition who made his presence felt immediately. Medlock opened the game with the catch of the night, an unreal one-handed grab over the back of a defender. He followed it up with a touchdown and several clutch receptions that kept drives alive.
Carter Zent (PSM 7v7) also had a standout performance, finding the end zone twice on offense and contributing on defense with a well-timed pass breakup.
Jordyn Murray (Team Elite All The Smoke) showed off his scoring ability with 2 touchdowns and an extra point, while Oliver Smith (Hustle Inc 405) added a touchdown and an extra point of his own, along with lockdown coverage at cornerback.
