Day one of the DR7 The Crown National Championship brought the top 7v7 talent in the nation to Florida, and the intensity did not disappoint. Despite a chilly start, the action on the field quickly heated up with elite competition spread across ten fields in continuous play. With high-level matchups in every direction, several players from the 14U and 15U divisions rose to the occasion in a big way.

    Jackson Conte (2028 WR – 813 Hawks)

Conte was a consistent weapon for the 14U 813 Hawks, making big-time plays in all three pool play matchups. He found the end zone multiple times, both for touchdowns and extra points and showcased an advanced route tree well beyond his age. Whether working the sideline or creating separation near the goal line, Conte didn’t drop a single target and was a go-to option when it mattered.

    Colton Outzen (2028 WR – 813 Hawks)

Outzen turned heads as one of the most polished receivers in 14U play. Scoring multiple touchdowns and extra points in each game, he displayed a veteran-like feel for finding soft spots in coverage, boxing out defenders with his frame, and hauling in tough catches with strong hands. With precise route running and YAC ability, Outzen is a name that will rise quickly with the right camp exposure and continued development.

    Bruen Greep (2028 WR – Prime 8)

Greep was the most refined route runner in the 15U division on Saturday. He made a living finding space in zone coverage, particularly slipping in behind linebackers to create easy throwing lanes for his QB. With quick cuts, sharp timing, and strong hands, Greep embodied the perfect possession receiver. Expect him to pop on the recruiting radar with increased exposure this offseason.

Antonio Balaguer (2027 QB – Team Elite All That Smoke)

Balaguer was the standout quarterback in 15U Pool Play, living up to his billing as one of the top returning QBs in the Tampa area. His Saturday stat line was staggering: 4 TDs in Game 1, 4 more in Game 2, and an eye-popping 6 touchdowns in Game 3, leading Team Elite All That Smoke to a perfect 3–0 record. With multiple MVP honors already this season and a strong showing at the RIVALS Combine Series, Balaguer is quickly becoming a national name to know in the 2027 class.
