One of Texas’ top rising seniors is back on the market. Kohen Brown, a 6-foot, 180-pound wide receiver from Waxahachie High School, has officially decommitted from USC. The four-star playmaker originally committed to the Trojans on April 2, 2025, but has decided to reopen his recruitment.
Brown, ranked the No. 243 overall player nationally and the No. 34 prospect per Rivals.com in Texas for the class of 2026, has been one of the hottest names on the recruiting trail this offseason. He’s recently picked up new offers from programs like Notre Dame and Arizona, with Missouri also firmly in the mix.
Despite stepping away from his pledge, Brown still has an official visit scheduled with USC on June 13. His recruitment is expected to draw heavy attention as summer visits ramp up.
